26 Jan 16 Arrive East Coast Antarctic Peninsula (as far south as prevailing conditions allow to gain access to land)
26 Jan – 2 Feb Conduct environmental and hydrographic studies
3 Feb 16 Depart from Antarctic Peninsula
5 Feb 16 Arrive Cape Valentine, Elephant Island
5 – 10 Feb 16 Conduct environmental and hydrographic studies
10 Feb 16 Depart Point Wild, Elephant Island
15 Feb 16 Arrive King Haakon Bay, South Georgia
16 Feb 16 Transit team of 9 depart for Stromness; remaining 3 onboard sail round to provide safety cover for exit points
16 – 19 Feb 16 King Haakon Bay – Stromness, shadowing transit team’s progress
20 Feb 16 Sail from Stromness to Grytviken
21 Feb 16 Visit Grytviken and Shackleton’s grave
22 Feb 16 Sail from Grytviken
28 Feb 16 Arrive Port Stanley
29 Feb 16 Leave Xplore and return to UK
