Winter Mountain Training

The team spent a week in the Ciarngorms, based out of the MOD’s Rothiemurchus Lodge, gaining experience of living and moving round safely in snow-clad mountains.

Board Meeting held in mid-Wales

The project team got together in mid-Wales for a combination of hill walking and brain storming.

Initial sailing training complete

The majority of the team were able to spend a week on the water at the start of August 2014, some for the first time.  The remaining novices will complete the training at the earliest opportunity.

@BeritEllingsen there were some really technical parts, with some large snow bridges and also an abseil over a waterfall 🙃
